Welcome to Simon Tolsons' consultancy a local based Osteopathic Clinic in Bromley Borough.
Qualifying initially in Sports Massage, Petts Wood Osteopathic Clinic was openned in 1994 having gained my degree in Osteopathy from the British School Of Osteopathy. Thereafter I have developed the practice to cover all forms of Osteopathy and also several other therapies to compliment my work as an osteopath.
Just before three years of being qualified as an Osteopath I started teaching at the European School Of Osteopathy as a Clinic Tutor and also asked to lecture on Sports Injuries. I gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Greenwich University in 2001. Along side undergraduate teaching I also teach on the Masters Course and lecture internationally to both undergraduates and qualified Osteopaths.
Additional qualifications include a Life Coaching Diploma qualification in 2003. Along with this I studied Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), which has been a great help for my work as an Osteopath, Sports Psychologist, Sports Coach, Hypnotist and my work in Education. I have also gained qualifications in Yoga, Pilates, Acupuncture and Hypnosis. This has facillitated me to be more specific with rehabilitation of injuries and back problems, provide alternative therapies to pain relief and empower patients to take more control of their problem.
From 1997 the clinic has developed to cater for much more than just musculoskeletal problems that patients come in with. There is a treatment room and also a studio room for rehabilitation exercises and is used for both Yoga and Pilates classes. I have studied, developed and teach an almost unique advanced approach to treatment of fascia (the connecting tissue within the body) known as Fascial Unwinding which involves taking both the stress and torsional strains out of the body which are often neglected and often the cause of repeated problems in the body.
